Max receives a call from a Senator Daniel McBain inviting him, Susan and Tinker to his mansion in Colorado. Max refuses until he learns that the senator knows about the time machine…and Susan. They find themselves, aided by Max’s new personal pilot Sandy Knox, pitted against an adversary who has already spanned time, one who plans on changing the past so that the Third Reich lives for a thousand years.

Max finds himself under attack from the leader of Slovenia, a Von Hursh who is actually from an alternate dimension using Max’s companies to produce war goods. Split from Max, Susan, James and Martha find themselves transported to Hursh’s alternate dimension where they struggle to find a way back. Max, Tinker and Sandy struggle against a seemingly unstoppable enemy who is hell bent on their destruction.

At a board meeting in California, Max receives information one of his companies is being used to import drugs. Soon he and Sandy find themselves caught in a tangled web of mob violence between the Mafia and the Russian Mob. Max eventually finds himself in Russia aided by a CIA operative who is not what he seems, he finds a city being used by the mob for drug manufacturing. On a remote island in the South Pacific a Russian science team led by a Dr. Vorka finds an inactive Annihilator base, which they unknowingly reactivate. Max and Susan are finally married but soon find themselves in battle against the annihilators who are beginning to sweep across the globe destroying all in their path. The fate of the human race depends the unearthing and reprogramming of another annihilator –Ava and the defending of a base in Greenland to buy time in order to change the past.

After a series of terror attacks Max finds himself once again in battle with a ghost from the past – Daniel McBain, who as unearthed an annihilator base on the Oregon coast. Inadvertently Max, Susan and their group are whisked back to 1943 where history has been altered in the Nazi’s favor. They are pitted against an ARDU unit that will stop at nothing to kill them. They must somehow find a way back in order to correct the time line and stop a worldwide genocide

On a return trip using the time machine, Max, Susan and Tinker are whisked by unknown forces into the distant past. Upon arriving they learn they are in the realm and court of King Arthur. They also quickly learn that Arthur’s nemesis Modred is being aided by a power not of this Earth a Stolic named the Repressor. By accident, Max and Guinevere are brought back in the time machine to their present time period. Now they have to struggle to figure out a way to get back before the Repressor

Max, Susan and Tinker discover an broken forearm from an ARDU unit and learn that the only way to stop the destruction it is about to unleash is to find a key that exists within the opposite arm…from the 1920’s. They find themselves caught in the savage gang wars in Chicago as they fight their way to an ultimate and final battle with the ARDU unit
